MOGNO PENDANT

 Mogno, meaning submerged, immersed in Bengali, enters a world where 
boundaries cease to exist.
Beneath the surface, creatures move by instinct, ungoverned by the borders human 
beings impose upon the world.
The manta ray, gliding through open water, becomes a quiet study in unrestrained 
movement.
Its expansive form is translated into a hand-carved natural gemstone, suspended 
between stillness and motion.
Mogno is less a depiction of the sea than an imagining of freedom before it is given a 
vocabulary.
A reminder that there are worlds where movement needs neither permission nor 
direction.
